Ulta - Under the Sea Polish Collection

My mom purchased this 4-piece set of mini .56oz/16g nail polish bottles simply because she is basically obsessed with mermaids and the name caught her eye. Neither of us are really into glitter polish, we prefer our creams. This little set was 8 bucks.

So there's 4 bottles in the set. The green one is called "Don't Be Shellfish." I really like the cute little names of these polishes, but it kind of bugs me that they aren't anywhere on the bottle. I'm going to keep them inside the package. Anyways, the green is a grass green with mainly green glitter, but there are noticeable specks of green glitter in there. The orange is called "Mermaid in Heaven." It's a burnt orange with orange and gold glitter. This is going to look great on toes for the summer. The pink one is called "A Tail of Two Cities" and it's a hot pick that is still somewhat deep with awesome gold glitter. This glitter is only visible in sunlight. Now. For the purple. Oh this amazing purple. It's called "Tip the Scaled" and I think I'm in love. It's on my toes and my fingers. It's this beautiful deep purple that has gold glitter when light hits it. But it doesn't end there. In some light, you can see little tiny glitters of all colors of the rainbow hidden in there. I AM IN LOVE.
I am absolutely in love with the purple. I tried to get the gold to show here, it didn't work.
Look at that beautiful shade of purple. Ah!!!!!!!

LOOK AT THAT GOLD. I am so totally in love with this polish. I need to go to ulta and see if they have a full sized polish of this. If they don't, I'm definitely going to buy another pack of the four and keep it in storage.
I normally hate Ulta polishes, but this collection has me blown away. They have become my go-to polishes and I have only had them for a few days! I did 3 coats, and there's still a visible nail line. I would recommend four or even five to be completely safe. I didn't use a base coat with this which I really regret. Once you take this off, there is going to be gold glitter all over your hands and nails which is extremely tedious. I don't know if that would still happen with a base coat, as I didn't use one. I got so many compliments on the purple and pink while I was wearing this.
All in all, I think that everyone has to go pick up this collection. It is totally worth the 8 dollars because these are the perfect polishes for this summer. They're fun, gorgeous, and conversation starters. I also think that they look really cute if you paint them how I did. A little juvenile, but hey, summer's coming!
